Melanie C Blogs About SUPERSTAR Tour Experience

Spice Girl and internationally recognized solo artist Melanie C opens up about her recent onstage role as Mary Magdalene in the ongoing arena world tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber & Tim Rice's seminal rock opera JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR in a new blog entry on her official site.

Born Melanie Chisholm, the athletically-inclined individual says that even she is wiped out after a recent string of sold-out SUPERSTAR shows in Australia, reuniting with co-stars Tim Minchin and Ben Forster from the UK leg of the tour, which began as a UK reality casting show in which she herself acted as a judge (alongside no less than Lord Andrew).

She writes, "I'm only just recovering from our epic trip touring 'Jesus Christ Superstar' in Australia. Wow, what an incredible place, it was both amazing and exhausting."

Chisholm comically adds of the Australian atmosphere and some down under experiences, "I loved feeding the kangaroos and enjoyed seeing the bits of Oz I hadn't before, the country left a real mark on me - or at least a certain koala did!"

Mel C concludes, "Our audiences and reviews were wonderful and brilliant, not a lot beats looking out on standing ovations, so thanks for coming if you did."
