Academy Award-winning actor and screenwriter Matt Damon recently revealed a heretofore unknown passion for not only karaoke, but a certain animated movie musical mermaid he particularly enjoys paying tribute to in doing so - none other than the one famous for singing the classic Oscar-winning score for THE LITTLE MERMAID, penned by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman.

Damon says that he enjoys unwinding with karaoke, stating, "[I relax by] going to karaoke on a double date with my wife Luciana. One time we bumped into Jeremy Renner and dragged him with us. And Renner can sing."

Clarifying what his favorite song selections are when crooning a tune for a crowd while out on the town on said double-dates, Damon shares, "I know all the songs to THE LITTLE MERMAID."

The acclaimed action star is sure to qualify his claim, nevertheless, asserting, "Only because I have four daughters, you understand."

Swoon! If only Prince Eric himself was actually so alarmingly charming!
