Montebello, CA -- At an early age, author Martha L. Cervantes began to take a desire to write make-believe stories and would keep her siblings always asking for more stories. It delighted her so much and had her create better stories. As Cervantes became a grown woman, writing fiction brings out the best of her thoughts.

Her new book titled "Voices Within Me" is a compelling collection of short stories which are all different from one another. These stories was written with the possibility in real life as placing oneself in a position of greed of life's plans to grab a better lifestyle and enjoys a life that is make-believe in a way that is not normal. They are purely fiction and have no proofs that the persons/characters have ever lived in neither real life nor the events that took place.

This book contains six highly interesting stories that let the reader's mind wander off into that world of make-believe. "Moonlight Shadows" revolves around the concept of heaven and hell and man's destiny to go either into one of them. "House for Sale" tells the story of some legendary human fish race that lures women and men to see a house for sale that serves as a breeding ground for their species."Shadows of the Past "is about a woman who is haunted by the ghosts of her past as well as other bone chilling stories such as "Her Life Belongs to Me," "The Man Who Looked Like Me," and "'Til Death and Money" among others.

A spine tingling, hair-raising read from beginning to end, "Voices Within Me" is a brilliant literary masterpiece that will make readers think the unthinkable. It will remind them that everyone possesses a subconscious mind of mental activity to areas of far beyond fiction and also ponders if at all such things are possible in real life.
