Maritza Renae Hernandez is now part of the 50th Anniversary company of Israel Horovitz's LINE (directed by Jay Michaels and produced and designed by Mary Elizabeth Micari) as Molly, a role she played previously.

Alumna of the Atlantic Acting School, the former member of The Complete Theater Company, and veteran of their improvisation productions, she's thrilled to be returning to the legendary play at 13th Street Repertory Theater.

"I like to take roles that not only challenge me as an actress but as an individual," the young actress said, about re-imagining the role of Molly for this new production scheme.

Maritza is a film actress as well as stage performer.

LINE, Horovitz's absurdist masterpiece, already the longest-running show in New York history (or anywhere for that matter), has entered its 50th year in New York.

Still at the legendary 13th Street Repertory Theater, under the direction of Jay Michaels, with retro production design by Mary Elizabeth Micari, the show currently features four rotating casts, so there's never the same show twice. Conor D. Mullen is fight choreographer and Mario Claudio is production stage manager.

The current company includes Brady Richards, Robbie Gottlieb, Elliot Wygoda, Nina Cudic, Maritza Renae, Conor D. Mullen, Ben Lerner, Andrew Schwartz, Mario Claudio, Mike Handelman, Andy Dispensa, Thomaz Mussnich, EwanTurner, Thaissa Yumi, Chris Russell, Franco Pedicini, Jon Levy, and David H. Littleton.
