AMC has enlisted former PUSHING DAISIES star Lee Pace to topline the network's upcoming series HALT & CATCH FIRE. Mackenzie Davis has also signed on to star opposite Pace.

From AMC Studios, "Halt & Catch Fire" is created by Chris Cantwell and Chris Rodgers. Mark Johnson ("Breaking Bad," Diner, Rain Man) and Melissa Bernstein ("Breaking Bad") from Gran Via Productions serve as executive producers.

Set in the early 1980s, "Halt & Catch Fire" dramatizes the personal computing boom through the eyes of a visionary, an engineer and a prodigy whose innovations directly confront the corporate behemoths of the time. Their personal and professional partnership will be challenged by greed and ego while charting the changing culture in Texas' Silicon Prairie.

Pace is set to take on the role of the confident and powerful 'Joe MacMillan.' A former all-star IBM salesman, the visionary leaves the company under unknown circumstances - only to be hired at one of Dallas' most prestigious technological companies.

Davis will play 'Cameron Howe,' a young tech prodigy currently in grad school, who's as volatile as she is talented.

Pace has starred in several off-Broadway plays, including The Credeaux Canvas and The Fourth Sister. He also starred in a production of Craig Lucas's Small Tragedy, for which he was nominated for a Lucille Lortel Award as Outstanding Actor. In 2006, Pace starred in the two-character play Guardians by Peter Morris, which earned Pace his second nomination for a Lortel Award as Outstanding Actor. He made his Broadway debut in THE NORMAL HEART in 2011. He most recently starred in MTC's THE GOLDEN AGE opposite Bebe Neuwirth.
