LES MISERABLES 2014 Rehearsal Round-Up! Meet & Greet, Stars Tweet, Backstage Photos, Etc.

Many notable cast members from the hotly anticipated 2014 Broadway revival of LES MISERABLES have converged to begin work on the new production in New York City and some of the stars and featured players have taken to social media to share comments, images and insights into the process.

Five-time Tony Award-winner Audra McDonald extended her best wishes to the cast, headlined by her real-life partner Will Swenson, Tweeting, "1st day of school @CaissieLevy @kealasettle @andrewkober @nikkimjames @raminkarimloo & my luv @thewillswenson #lookdownadreamgoneby1daymore".

Will Swenson himself just shared his impressions of today's rehearsal, writing, "Ok, I've tried very hard to be Twitter cool about my new show, but if you heard my @LesMisBway cast sing, you'd flip too !!! So pumped-".

Caissie Levy kept her comments succint but glowing, stating, "You guys. These voices. Woah. @LesMisBway".

Andy Mientus shared the love, positing, "It makes me so happy that @michaelarden and I both have rehearsal tomorrow. I made us throat coat, the humidifier is on and all is right," while also later sharing an allusion to his character's iconic duet, "The rain it raineth every day."

Chris McCarrell shared a photo of a wittily rewritten page from the musical score to Mientus, while previously writing of rehearsals, "Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh yes. yes. yes. @LesMisBway".

Cast member Andrew Kober has provided multiple updates already at this early stage of the process, sharing, "You guys. These folks in @LesMisBway are Singers. #withacapitolS" as well as posting a pic of co-star Andy Mientus conspicuously Tweeting.
