Cabaret has never been hotter than right now in New York City with the arrival of Kristopher McDowell (http://www.kristophermcdowell.com), performing "Le Jazz Hot"tonight at Helen's Hideaway Room, 169 Eighth Avenue at West 19th Street. The raves have been pouring in: Laurie Lawson of "The Electronic Link" says, "The soft and sexy styling of Kristopher McDowell with
arrangements by Master Daryl Kojak and Ed Alstrom, the evening is awash in musical distinction." And of Kristopher, "Show Music" declares: "A terrific voice...far beyond his age - it's almost frightening to think what he might be in another couple decades."

"Le Jazz Hot" is directed by Shari Upbin (MAC nominated Producer and President-emeritis for The American League of Professional Theater Women) and backed by the Ed Alstrom Trio. Reservations are available through Helen's at (212)206-0609. Showtimes are February 23, 2005 at 8 and 10pm. $15 music charge and $15 minimum per person (dining menu and full bar available).
