The Broadway League has announced that Todrick Hall, now starring in Kinky Boots, will serve as a National Ambassador for the 2017 KIDS' NIGHT ON BROADWAY, taking place in New York City on Tuesday, February 28th, 2017. Tickets to participating shows will go on sale to the public on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 10:30am.

"When I was a child and saw my first Broadway show, I never knew that people could do this as a career. That they could entertain people, help people escape from the crazy things happening and enjoy live singing and dancing and experience someone leaving their heart on the stage. It's cool in this day and age to see someone not on their phone, but to be completely invested," said Todrick Hall. "I hope and pray that it changes kids' lives and doesn't just impact their life for this one night, but inspires them to go chase their dreams. No dream is too small or too large. For me to come from a small farming community in Texas to now being on Broadway means that anything is possible, no matter what age, race, ethnicity or background. You can achieve anything you want as long as you believe in yourself and really dedicate your time to fine tuning your craft."

Todrick Hall is currently starring as Lola in the Tony Award-winning Musical Kinky Boots. He is a singer, songwriter, dancer, actor, choreographer, playwright, costume designer, "American Idol" finalist, star of his own MTV show and viral YouTube sensation (2.4M subscribers, 400M views). Hall just released his first visual album, Straight Outta Oz, which debuted as the #2 pop album. Broadway: The Color Purple, Memphis. Hall has opened "The Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards"; been a judge on "RuPaul's Drag Race" and "Gay for Play"; choreographed videos for Beyoncé; written and starred in the Virgin America safety video, Fiat commercials and the theme song for the new online version of "Sesame Street."
