Primary Stages presents Solo Train: An Evening of Solo Performers by emerging artists guided by renowned actress and Emmy Award-winning writer Judy Gold (The Judy Show: My Life as a Sitcom, "The Rosie O'Donnell Show"), Thursday, January 24 at 7PM and 9PM at the Bank Street Theater (155 Bank Street). Inspired by stories from his or her own life, each writer/performer has honed their performance to its most essential elements during the past semester at ESPA. Some stories are hilarious. Some stories are moving. Each story is bracingly fresh.

Gold serves as emcee for this special event featuring Michele Baldwin, Laurie Braun, Erin Healani Chung, Nancy Finn, Marisa Fox, Traciana Graves, Michael Hull, Laurel Lockhart, Kate Mailer, Lauren Maul, Aaron Ricciardi, Jennifer Terrell, Jeorge Bennett Watson and more!

"Solo performing is one of the most frightening genres of the theater," says Gold, "but once you do it, you are hooked! Many of the people performing on the 24th are going solo for the first time, and for some others it's old hat. They all have amazing stories to tell, and you are going to be the first to hear them. I guarantee you'll be blown away, and I don't lie like Lance Armstrong."

Seating is free and open to the public on a first-come-first serve basis. To make reservations call 212-840-9705 and mention Solo Train.
