Jono Manson Joins John Oates, Nicki Bluhm & More for Blue Rose Foundation Benefit

Jono Manson joins Rock 'n Roll Hall of Famer, John Oates, Nicki Bluhm, Jackie Greene, Jason Crosby, Jono Manson, Bekka Bramlett and special guests this Thursday, October 20 at The Cutting Room for an amazing night of music benefitting the Blue Rose Foundation. 100% of the ticket sales from this brilliant show will be used to provide preschool scholarships for economically disadvantaged children at the REACH school in Washington, CT. The Cutting Room is located at 44 E 32nd St., in NYC, doors open at 6:30 p.m. EST and the show begins at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are on sale now at TheCuttingRoomNYC.com.

Jono Manson recently released, The Slight Variations, a record that's literally been a lifetime in the making; an amalgamation of ideas and genres that span Manson's four-plus decades in the music industry, a time that's seen the musician lauded equally as a songwriter, performer, sideman, recording engineer and producer-as well as a godfather of the New York music scene of the mid-1980s that produced the likes of Joan Osborne, Blues Traveler and the Spin Doctors.

The Slight Variations displays Manson's roots in the feral NYC music scene of the late 70s but also touches on his modern day journey as a father and a man increasingly worried about the health of the planet. The Slight Variations is out now HERE.

Low-cost and free preschool programs are available for families in need, but demand far exceeds the supply. In 2011, there were over 100 more eligible children 5 years of age and younger, than there were available spaces in subsidized care programs. The Blue Rose Foundation aims to close that gap.
