One of the most recognizable and influential voices in progressive rock and the lead vocalist and creative force behind the band YES, Jon Anderson was central to their phenomenal success. Jon Anderson will present an intimate solo evening featuring the timeless YES tunes along with his own eclectic solo work on Sunday, April 13, at 8 p.m. at The Ridgefield Playhouse. YES had gave us "Roundabout", "All Good People", "Long Distance Runaround", "Find My Way Home", "Wondrous Stories", "Owner of a Lonely Heart" and many more memorable hits. Jon Anderson, also a talented songwriter and harpist, described his prowess as an accomplished musician and composer in a 2008 interview with the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette: "I'm an alto tenor and I can sing certain high notes, but I could never sing falsetto, so I go and hit them high." Jon Anderson is also a talented songwriter and harpist.
