John Fogerty Set for Interview, Audience Q&A at Grammy Museum, 10/10

In advance of launching his national concert tour October 10th at the Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles, JOHN FOGERTY will appear at the GRAMMY Museum on September 26 at 8:00 PM for an intimate interview and audience Q&A. This very special appearance by the GRAMMY Award-winning FOGERTY--one of rock's most important artists and a national treasure who's sold over 100 million albums-is in tandem with the GRAMMY Museum's same-day unveiling of the exhibit, John Fogerty: Wrote A Song For Everyone. It is named after his current albumWrote A Song For Everyone (Vanguard Records), hailed by fans and critics alike including a rare 5-star lead review inRolling Stone.

This reflective exhibit will offer visitors a unique look at the musical career of the singer, songwriter and guitarist, who, for more than 45 years, has been making music that continues to speak in a powerful way to generations of musicians and music lovers alike.

On display through January 2014, the "John Fogerty: Wrote A Song For Everyone" exhibit will feature:

- Centerfield "Baseball Bat" guitar; played during his solo career;

- Dobro guitar from 1969's Green River album cover;

- John's personal scrapbook from his time with Creedence Clearwater Revival;

- Handwritten lyrics to "Proud Mary";

- Fogerty's high-school diploma and yearbook;

- Costumes, posters, awards and albums;

- Personal correspondence, tour ephemera and photographs;

- The original recording contract CCR signed with Fantasy Records that came back to haunt him

- And much more...

On the evening of the launch, Fogerty will participate in The GRAMMY Museum's popular "An Evening With" public program series titled An Evening with John Fogerty. The event will be hosted by GRAMMY Museum executive director Bob Santelli, and will include a candid interview and audience Q&A in the Museum's Clive Davis Theater. An Evening with John Fogertyis presented by American Express.

Museum admission is $12.95 for adults; $11.95 for senior citizens (65+); $11.95 for students with I.D. (ages 6 - 22); and $10.95 for youth (ages 6-17) and members of the military. GRAMMY Museum members and children 5 and under are admitted free. FOGERTY just performed at a Labor Day weekend gig at Harley-Davidson's 110th anniversary party in Milwaukee, WI,appearing alongside WROTE A SONG FOR EVERYONE collaborator Kid Rock. FOGERTY will then head to VirginiaSeptember 7 where he'll play a solo set, sitting in with Widespread Panic, at the Interlocken Music Festival. In addition,FOGERTY will travel to Nashville for Zac Brown's Southern Ground Music & Food Festival in late September to sit in with the Zac Brown Band, who also appear on WROTE A SONG FOR EVERYONE, collaborating on the "Bad Moon Rising"track.

WROTE A SONG FOR EVERYONE marks FOGERTY's ninth studio solo album since disbanding Creedence Clearwater Revival. Mixed by Bob Clearmountain, the FOGERTY-produced album was recorded in Los Angeles and Nashville except for "Proud Mary" which was recorded in New Orleans with Allen Toussaint and the Rebirth Brass Band. FOGERTYrecorded "Fortunate Son" with Foo Fighters at their 606 studio using "the" legendary Neve recording console featured in the #1 iTunes documentary Sound City.
