Jersey Boys, History Boys Among Drama League Award Winners

Jersey Boys, The History Boys, Sweeney Todd and Awake and Sing! have been awarded Drama League Awards, while Christine Ebersole won the Drama League Award for Distinguished Performance for her dual performance in Grey Gardens.

Hot Feet, Shining City and Tarzan, due to their opening past the Drama League's deadline, will be considered for next season, while Bridge & Tunnel and Well were previously considered last season when they ran Off-Broadway.

The 72nd Annual Drama League Awards Ceremony and Luncheon took place on Friday, May 5 at noon at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Times Square. The event was hosted by Alan Cumming (The Threepenny Opera).
