Singer-Songwriter Jackson Browne returns to Omaha for one night only at the beautiful Orpheum Theater. Playing guitar and piano, Jackson will perform songs from his entire body of work. Tickets go on sale Friday, April 11 at 10:00 a.m.

Tickets are priced at $69.25, $59.25, $39.25 and may be purchased only through Ticket Omaha by calling 402-345-0606, online at TicketOmaha.com, or at the Ticket Omaha box office located inside the Holland Center on 13th & Douglas streets (open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays 12 to 5 p.m.).

Buyers beware: Ticket Omaha is the only authorized vendor for Holland Center and Orpheum performances; tickets purchased from other sources will be more expensive with higher handling fees and carry no guarantee of delivery or being honored for admission to the performance.

2014 will also see two new Jackson Browne releases. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Late For The Sky, originally released in September 1974, the album has been re-mastered and will be released later this year on 180gram vinyl (standard 33 1/3 RPM), all digital platforms, and also, on CD in a new eco-digipak in a partnership between Rhino Records and Inside Recordings. Also, this fall, Jackson will release a new studio album, the thirteenth of his career.

Jackson Browne has written and performed some of the most literate and moving songs in popular music and has defined a genre of songwriting charged with honesty, emotion and personal politics. He was honored with induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004, and the Songwriter's Hall of Fame in 2007. Beyond his music, he is known for his advocacy on behalf of the environment, human rights, and arts education. He's a co-founder of the groups Musicians United for Safe Energy (MUSE) and Nukefree.org.
