Leaked emails obtained by the muckracking folks over at TMZ are shedding light on a new musical battle between singing Jack White and The Black Keys, especially their lead singer Dan Auerbach.

In documents obtained via Jack White's wife as part of divorce hearings, White writes (typos are his):

my concen with auerbach is because i dont want the kids involved in any of that crap. you aren't thining ahead. that's a possible twelve fing years i'mg going to have to be sitting in kids chairs next to that asshole with other people trying to lump us in together. he gets yet another freee reign to follow me around and copy me and push himself into my world. its so easy for you to sit there and thing youre taking the high road. then why do you not want scarlett and maddie in the same class? why are you involving scarlett in your opinions karen? she loves maddie what's the matter? see what i'm saying now?

Jack White, often credited as Jack White III is an American musician, singer-songwriter, record producer, multi-instrumentalist and occasionalactor. He is best known as the vocalist, guitarist and pianist of The White Stripes which disbanded February 2011. He is also well-known for his work with The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather. On April 24, 2012, White released his debut solo album, Blunderbuss which received wide critical acclaim. He is ranked No. 70 on Rolling Stone's list of "The 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time".

Daniel Quine "Dan" Auerbach (born May 14, 1979) is an American musician and record producer best known as the guitarist andvocalist for The Black Keys, a blues rock band from Akron, Ohio. As a member of the band, Auerbach has recorded and co-produced seven studio albums with his fellow bandmate Patrick Carney. In 2009, Auerbach released a solo album entitled Keep It Hid. In addition to winning several Grammy Awards as a member of The Black Keys, Auerbach received the 2013 Grammy Award for Producer of the Year, Non-Classical for co-producing his band's 2011 album El Camino, and for producing records byDr. John (Locked Down) and Hacienda.
