Indie rock band, Pinback, comes to Hard Rock Cafe on the Strip Wednesday, January 16th with special guests.

Formed in San Diego, CA in the late 90’s, Pinback, got their name from a character in the 1974 film Dark Star. Being huge fans of the movie, the band even used audio samples from the film frequently in their early works. The band released their debut album, This Is A Pinback CD, in ’99 and have consistently released successful albums since.

The band just released their fifth album, Information Retrieved, which is the realization of a sound the band has been developing and refining for over a decade. The album blends unique bass acrobatics which drive both rhythm and melody with the sound of Rob Crow’s voice, which results in a major triumph for the band. Information Retrieved is the most complete and soulful Pinback album to date.

The Hard Rock Cafe on the Strip is located at 3771 Las Vegas Blvd S. (Across from Monte Carlo) in Vegas. Tickets go on sale Friday, November 9 at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased at the Hard Rock Cafe Box Office or at ticketweb.com. Tickets are $18 in advance and $22 day of show.
