To note this week: Aladdin broke its 7th house record at the New Amsterdam Theatre, with a gross of $1,854,406.55 for the week ending August 2, 2015. Placing #3 on the list of best-selling Broadway shows for the 10th week in a row, Aladdin becomes the first new show to consistently crack the top 3 since The Book of Mormon joined The Lion King and Wicked in that trio nearly four years ago. Measured in both attendance and box office, Aladdin has established itself as the biggest hit in several seasons, welcoming its one-millionth guest last month and setting this 7th house record in its first 18 months.
