Setting the mood for seasonal jollity, I LIKE MUSIC will open its doors for an extraordinary three day event and pop-up shop in Brick Lane, in London's fashionable East End, from 6-8th December.

Shoppers will be able to listen to decades of their favourite chart tunes spun by guest DJ's, enjoy live performances from the Gibson Guitars sponsored showcase stage and a 'Guitars Through the Decades' exhibition, drink free tea and access complementary Wi-Fi in the chill-out lounge, whilst creating unique and personalised musical gifts from just £3.99.

Offering a brand new way to gift, purchase and stream music, products available in the shop and online via www.ilikemusic.com will include headphones, greeting cards, t-shirts and baseball caps, all of which carry a streaming e-album compilation of choice, downloaded via a QR code found on the label.

At the heart of the brand is the legendary Phil Swern (left with a fraction of his vast music collection), a dedicated record collector and radio producer who started the library when he was just 4 years old. I LIKE MUSIC was born when the gargantuan collection spilled out of his house into the studios at Richmond which has supplied the BBC for many years, and continues to do so.

With 17.5 tonnes of tunes at their fingertips, the I LIKE MUSIC team have curated hundreds of playlists from which to choose and have made available easy technology allowing purchasers to create personal albums. 'Birthday Number Ones' is the first example to be launched, which enables buyers to create a date driven playlist in minutes.
