Electro/hip-hop/pop trio HYPER CRUSH has returned to the music scene with a new single "Visions Of Coleco." The gritty trap banger--their first new music in over a year--is available now at iTunes. The new music takes a slightly different approach from HYPER CRUSH's past hits including "Werk Me," "Bad Boyz," "Ayo" and "Kick Us Out," while maintaining the ferocity, eccentricity and boundary-pushing reputation they have earned. The group--HOLLY VALENTINE, DONNY FONTAINE and PRESTON MORONIE--teamed up to create what's being hailed "one of their best music videos so far, complete with a Black Panther and surreal backdrops." (Peace Magazine, 3/21/13)

The "Visions Of Coleco" video has already garnered over 20,000 views on YouTube; check it out here. HYPER CRUSH's YouTube channel has over 10 million views.

"Filming the 'Visions Of Coleco' video with the black panther was pretty awesome," shares HOLLY. "Her name was Whoopi. I couldn't wear specific things and it was kinda a trip because I had all white contacts in which made me look like a cat myself! Haha! And my hair was down to my knees...the trainers on set said it was fine though. Such an amazing experience, such a beautiful animal."

"Visions of Coleco" is the first release from the group's forthcoming EP titled VERTIGO to be released later this summer. Leading up to the EP release, HYPER CRUSH--who has toured with Lady Gaga, Breathe Carolina, Far East Movement and Kevin Rudolf, among others--has confirmed a string of live performances, kicking off this weekend (4/5) at Drink Nightclub in Schaumburg, IL with stops in Chicago and Kansas City. They've also been asked to perform at a private, invite-only event in Indio, CA. on April 13 to coincide with the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Annual Festival.

HYPER CRUSH was one of the first music collectives to bring electro-rap to the mainstream masses. In 2008, the Los Angeles Times noted: "Hypercrush is now known nationwide to boosters of the kitschier side of dance music, thanks to infectious offerings such as "Robo Tech" and "Sex & Drugs," which lit up countless Myspace profiles last year." (11/6/08). Since then, the group was signed by Motown/Universal and released a series of singles; however, they ultimately decided to create their own label, Night Wave Records. In February 2012 HYPER CRUSH released their second full-length album Night Wave, and first on their newly created label. Thanks to their loyal fan base, Night Wave debuted #2 on the iTunes Electronic Albums chart, behind Skrillex at #1, and went on to sell over 10,000 copies.

The Los Angeles-based trio is now fiercely independent, not only writing, creating and producing all their own music but also taking control of their imaging with input in all creative aspects including styling, album and single artwork, photos and music videos. HOLLY styles herself, designing all her own clothing and doing her own hair and make-up.
