St. Bartholomew's Church (aka St. Bart's) is pleased to host the High Holy Day Services for the Jewish Holidays of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur for the eighth year.

Rosh Hashanah
Wednesday, September 8th at 6:00pm
Thursday, September 9th at 10:00am

Yom Kippur
Friday, September 17th at 8:00pm Kol Nidre
Saturday, September 18 at 10:00am

These Reform High Holiday services are free to all. The services offer those with a wide range of Jewish background, knowledge and sensibilities -- the opportunity to connect at this special time in the Jewish calendar.

Originally started 44 years ago by the New York Metropolitan Conference of the Men of Reform Judaism, these services were intended to provide a place to celebrate the High Holidays for students, military, and young adults away from home. (Non-students are requested to contribute.) For more information about this organization and these services go to: www.BerniesServices.org

Services will be conducted by Rabbi Leonard A. Schoolman, founding director of the Center for Religious Inquiry at St. Bart's, where he has led High Holy Day services in the main sanctuary for the past seven years.

Music Director for these services is Paolo Bordignon, Associate Director of Music and Director of the Choristers at St. Bart's. An accomplished soloist and chamber musician on harpsichord and organ, Paola has performed worldwide.

The Shofar blower is Charles Sedacca, courtesy of B'nai B'rith Latino-Jewish Dialog.

Please join us at St. Bartholomew's Church at the corner of Park Avenue and 51st Street. Subway: #6 to 51st Street. For more information, call (212) 378-0222, or call Craig Mende at 212-813-5694.
