According to Deadline, Helena Bonham Carter and Rebecca Hall have joined the cast of Steve McQueen's upcoming HBO pilot CODES OF CONDUCT. Devon Terrell and Paul Dano have already signed on.

Per the report, "Beverly Snow (Terrell), a young man from Queens as talented as he is ambiguous. His self-confidence will enable him to break into the social circles of Manhattan's elite, testing the boundaries of access and social mobility. Carter will play author and psychiatrist Esther Kaufmann. Born into a prominent Jewish family in Manhattan, the divorced mother of two grown boys is now living life on her own terms - terms that change dramatically though after she crosses paths with the enigmatic Beverly Snow. Hall plays the smart and educated Rebecca Rotmensen, the eldest child of a New York billionaire, who will emerge as Beverly's foremost rival, his equal in guile and ruthlessness."

Bonham Carter is known for her roles in films such as A Room with a View, Fight Club, and playing the villainess Bellatrix Lestrange in the Harry Potter series. She frequently works with director and domestic partner Tim Burtonin films such as Planet of the Apes, Big Fish, Corpse Bride, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Alice in Wonderland, and Dark Shadows. In 2012 she played Miss Havisham in Great Expectations, and Madame Thénardier in LES MISERABLES.

A two-time Academy Award nominee for her performances in The Wings of the Dove and The King's Speech, Bonham Carter's acting has been further recognised with six Golden Globe nominations, an International Emmy Award, a BAFTA Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Award.

Hall is known for starring in films such as "The Town," "Please Give", "Frost/Nixon" and Woody Allen's "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" which earned her a Golden Globe nomination. Hall will next be seen in "Iron Man 3" for Marvel/Disney, "Closed Circuit" for Focus Features and "A Promise" directed by Patrice LeConte. She recently starred in MACHINAL on Broadway.
