The Harbor Lights Theater Company, led by Executive Artistic Director Tamara Jenkins, Co-Artistic Director Jay Montgomery, and Associate Producer Beth Gittleman, announces the formation of the Harbor Lights Theater Guild, giving members of the community an opportunity to share their talents and passion for the arts with Staten Island's first and only professional equity theater company.

The Harbor Lights Theater Guild is a volunteer organization dedicated to supporting Harbor Lights' operations and productions. Members will act as ambassadors for the company; they will welcome incoming artists, host opening night parties, and assist the staff - generally supporting every aspect of production, which will also include exciting behind-the-scene activities. Members will have the opportunity to join specialized committees, each focused on a particular operation of Harbor Lights.

"There is a place for everybody when it comes to producing professional theater. By forming this guild we are giving theater enthusiasts the opportunity to come together and collectively be part of the continued growth of our company. We are certainly growing, and this is the perfect time to include more and more people in the community -- they can join us for the ride as we continue to build, and get recognition as, a premier regional theater company," said Tamara Jenkins, Executive Artistic Director.

Another recruitment meeting will be held in mid-April, just in time to assist with the production of Harbor Light's next show, Driving Miss Daisy, which will run May 9th through the 18th at the Music Hall at Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Gardens.
