Forget the fictional town of Arlen, Texas - Mike Judge is heading to SILICON VALLEY.

According to Deadline, the KING OF THE HILL creator's latest pilot has been ordered to series by HBO. John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky, Judge's KING co-creators, are also behind the project.

The series is "set in the high-tech Gold Rush of modern Silicon Valley, where the people most qualified to succeed are the least capable of handling success." Judge directed and co-wrote the pilot with Altschuler and Krinsky.

As BWW TV previously reported, VALLEY stars Amanda Crew (jOBS), Kumail Nanjiani, Angela Trimbur (CALIFORNICATION), Christopher Evan Welch, Zach Woods, T.J. Miller, Thomas Middleditch, Josh Brener and Lindsey Broad.

SILICON VALLEY joins HBO's other comedies GIRLS and VEEP, as well as Michael Lannan's untitled LGBT-centered series set in San Francisco, which was just picked up this week.
