Casey Wilson, engaged to HAPPY ENDINGS creator David Caspe, is set to star in his latest project for NBC.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Wilson will topline the upcoming comedy pilot MARRY ME, following "longtime couple Annie and Jake, who get engaged and quickly realize that it's harder than it looks. Wilson will play Annie, who is described as pretty and emotional to Jake's cute and logical."

Caspe, who's critically lauded series HAPPY ENDINGS was cancelled by ABC late last year, also penned the script.

MARRY ME marks Wilson's second pilot venture of the season. Wilson also has MASON TWINS, co-written by June Diane Raphael, set up with ABC Studios for NBC. The pilot follows fraternal twins Pender and Lizzie Mason, who reunite after 15 years of estrangement and discover that neither of them have their lives together.

Writers Wilson and Raphael are best friends who co-wrote the movies Bride Wars and Ass Backwards. Wilson will next appear as an actress in Me Him Her, Claire's Cambodia and Gone Girl.
