The Jewish Museum presents Happiness Therapy with Stefan Sagmeister on Thursday, May 2 from 8pm to 11pm. Acclaimed designer Stefan Sagmeister will kick off the evening with a 13-minute-long preview of his documentary feature, The Happy Film, currently in post-production.

This entertaining night is part of The Wind Up, a series of after-hours events with art, music, performance, drinks, and socializing, and is inspired by the Museum's current exhibition, Six Things: Sagmeister & Walsh. Attendees will also be able to "get happy" with a live DJ; hands on art activities; free neck and back massages; guided exhibition tours of Six Things: Sagmeister & Walsh and As it were ... So to speak: A Museum Collection in Dialogue with Barbara Bloom at 9pm and 10pm; sweets provided by Economy Candy; and an open bar with beer and wine. Beer courtesy of Shmaltz Brewing Company.

Stefan Sagmeister, born in Bregenz, Austria, in 1962, established the design firm Sagmeister Inc. in New York in 1993. He is the recipient of many awards, including two Grammy awards for his packaging designs, the Lucky Strike Designer Award, and an award from the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum.
