The Board of Trustees of The Frick Collection today announced that Elizabeth Mugar Eveillard will become its next Chair, beginning June 2017. She will succeed Margot Campbell Bogert, who has led the institution's board for the past eleven years. Director Ian Wardropper comments, "Margot has been instrumental in guiding the Frick through a period of substantial growth and helping set a vision for the Frick's next century. On behalf of the board and staff, I want to thank Margot for her tremendous leadership as we welcome Betty Eveillard, whose deep engagement with the Frick and vast experience working with a range of cultural and educational nonprofits will greatly enrich our institution." Bogert will continue to serve on the Board of Trustees. It is anticipated that she will chair the board's Development Committee and participate on several others including the Nominating and Governance Committees. Additionally, Bogert will be honored at the Autumn Dinner, the Frick's hallmark benefit event, on October 16, 2017.

Adds Eveillard, "I am thrilled to have the opportunity to build on the remarkable legacy of The Frick Collection as a haven for contemplative engagement with the arts. I look forward to working closely with my fellow board members and the talented staff of the Frick to advance the success of this great institution by championing its commitment to serve the public and supporting its remarkable programs, scholarship, and collection."
