Fashion Photo of the Day 11/5/13 - Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift looked as polished as ever this week at BBC Radio 1's Teen Awards. Swift opted for a chic, simple yet fun embellished Jenny Packham dress. One of my favorite things about Swift's red carpet style is that she almost always keeps things classic. Every now and then Swift will go for something daring and bold, but generally, she stays elegant, feminine and chic.

Here's why I love this seemingly simple Jenny Packham dress. First off, the color. I love green! It looks great on all skin tones and it's so festive this time of year. Secondly, Packham added just the right amount of sparkle that gives the dress interest but still keeps it minimal and accessible. And that's really what I love most of all about this look - it's accessible. Girls can look to Swift and easily emulate for less money by adding a sparkle belt and necklace to a simple dress, or a sparkle belt and headband. The dress itself does not need to be embellished to get the same fun and flirty effect.
