Disney's super successful animated movie musical FROZEN can claim not only #1 animated film and soundtrack status, but, now, the platinum-status lead single "Let It Go" has become the top downloaded sheet music of the year according to statistics provided by Musicnotes.com.

Penned by Tony Award winner Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez and performed by Tony-winning Broadway headliner and GLEE star Idina Menzel in the film itself, "Let It Go" from FROZEN has also become the biggest breakout tune from a musical film this century, as well.

According to an official statement from the site to BroadwayWorld, "Topping the downloads of 2014, "Let It Go" is one of many songs from the Frozen soundtrack ("Do You Want to Build a Snowman,"For the First Time in Forever"), along with other musicals ("On My Own," Les Mis, "For Good," Wicked, "Summertime," Porgy and Bess) that are being downloaded daily by instrumentalists and vocalists worldwide."
