FANCY NANCY THE MUSICAL Opens this Weekend at Derby Dinner Playhouse

From the top of her tiara down to her sparkly shoes, Nancy's ready to take the spotlight in her first dance recital. But when someone else gets picked to be the prima ballerina, Nancy is stuck playing a dreary, dull tree. Can she still bring fancy flair to her role when it isn't the one she wanted? Adapted from the bestselling books, FANCY NANCY THE MUSICAL is a funny, frilly ballet story with a lot of heart.

FANCY NANCY - THE MUSICAL is based on the book series by Jane O'Connor and Robin Preiss Glasser. The book was adapted for the stage by Susan DiLallo with music and lyrics by Danny Abosch. Musical numbers featured are "Anyone Can Be Fancy", "I Wonder What I'll Be", "You'll Always Be My Star", "The Shark Rap", and more!

FANCY NANCY - THE MUSICAL is under the direction of Tina Jo Wallace. The cast will include Katelyn Webb as Nancy, Marina Hart, Charity Means, Megan Massie, AlFrEd Jones, and Mandi Elkins Hutchins.

All public performances of FANCY NANCY - THE MUSICAL are on Saturdays with Breakfast at 9:00 a.m. and Lunch at 12:00 p.m. An evening performance has been added on Monday - June 12 at 5:45pm. All performances feature a kid friendly menu. This production is most suitable for ages 3 - 12.
