On November 12 Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater will present "Smokin' Jazz: From Basie to the Beatles," performed by the Bruce Abbott/Fred Fried Quintet featuring vocalist Marcelle Gauvin. Back by popular demand, Smokin' Jazz is the Quintet's third winter concert at Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater.

The Bruce Abbott/Fred Fried Quintet, one of New England's leading jazz ensembles, presents electrifying jazz renditions of much-loved songs from film, pop and Broadway in their hit show Smokin' Jazz - From Basie to the Beatles. Enjoy jazz classics "500 Miles High," "Days of Wine and Roses," and beautiful jazz takes on The Beatles' "Here, There and Everywhere," Bacharach's "Alfie," Jim Webb's "Wichita Lineman" and many more. The all-star group features Bruce Abbott, saxophone and flute; Fred Fried, 8-string guitar; Marcelle Gauvin, vocals; Dave Zinno, bass; and Miki Matsuki, drums.
