Triptyk Studios has announced that Elie Landau, a 21-year Broadway industry veteran, who previously served as an Associate General Manager for 101 Productions Ltd, and whose producing credits span stage and film, has joined the company as Executive Producer. In his position, Mr. Landau will help oversee the company's live theatrical, film, television and digital ventures, reporting directly to Lead Producer, Tara Smith and Artistic Directors, B. Swibel and Adam Westbrook, and liaise with the company's many collaborators and producing partners.

At 101, Landau's management credits included HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH, LUCKY GUY, NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT, ROMEO & JULIET, THE ADDAMS FAMILY, RED, THE NORMAL HEART, 13, and SPAMALOT. He also served as Executive Producer of HEDWIG's Grammy-nominated original cast recording. Mr. Landau is a two-time Tony Award nominated producer for the 2008 revival of Harold Pinter's THE HOMECOMING and the 2009 production of YOU'RE WELCOME AMERICA starring Will Ferrell, as well an Emmy nominee and 2006 Christopher Award winner for Executive Producing the documentary film, PAPER CLIPS. In his spare time, he is active in the contemporary a cappella community, serving as an adjudicator for regional and national competitions, a master clinician and lecturer at vocal music festivals across the U.S., and a music critic for the Recorded A Cappella Review Board. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and a proud member of The Broadway League and the Association of Theatrical Press Agents & Managers.

"Triptyk's impressive track record, their current productions and slate of development, as well as the passion and artistic commitment that Tara, Brian, Adam, and their team demonstrate in supporting their collaborators and bringing these stories to life, are incredibly energizing and inspiring for me," said Landau. "This company is poised to continue creating magnificent and meaningful work in the years to come and I'm so excited to take on a leadership role in making that a reality."

"Elie's work in producing and general management is defined by, among other glowing attributes, quality, integrity, passion, and hard work," said Tara Smith, B. Swibel & Adam Westbrook. "He's going to add important value to the process at Triptyk, benefitting significantly our extended family of collaborators, so we're honored and excited for him to become a company member and help us build on the hard work of past and current members. Also, we're serious about our harmony game at Triptyk, so Elie's a cappella prowess was paramount."
