Celebrating Mom has never been so jazzy as it will be in the 360 Club at Parx Casino on Sunday, May 11 from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Philadelphia's popular singer Eddie Bruce stars in "The Music & Magic of Tony Bennett" with The Tom Adams Trio. The evening begins with a delicious dinner buffet and continues when Eddie pays tribute to the music and remarkable career of this great American musical treasure.

Tickets are $60 per person and include dinner, soft drinks and the show. Guests must be 21 years of age to attend. Parx is located at 2999 Street Road, Bensalem, PA 19020. To buy tickets, visit http://parxcasino.ticketleap.com/mothersday/ or call (888) 588-7279.

This original production combines beloved songs from Tony Bennett's rich repertoire with Eddie's personal stories about Tony's impact on his life. Known as one of the premiere interpreters of Tony Bennett's music, Eddie includes songs that range from Tony's earlier tunes like "Because of You" and "Just in Time" to songs like "I Got Rhythm," "If I Ruled the World" and "Steppin' Out" that reintroduced Tony Bennett to the MTV generation. When Bruce's recording, "Bruce on Bennett," was released, Mark Fox, the president of the International Tony Bennett Appreciation Society said, "Everything ... vocals, accompaniment, song choices -- just right!"

This popular singer, who grew up in Northeast Philadelphia, receives raves from coast to coast. After seeing him perform in his NY supper club, Michael Feinstein said, "Eddie has a great voice and a wonderful stage presence." After seeing his Tony Bennett show at the Metropolitan Room in New York, Barbara and Scott Siegel called Eddie "A Triumph" in their Talkinbroadway.com column and wrote that his "comic effect ... will win you over" and "his stories are wonderfully engaging and his song selection is right on the money."

A natural performer, whether Eddie is singing from the concert stage with The Philly POPS, the Hershey Symphony or Ocean City Pops or at a nightclub like Feinstein's in New York and 54 Below, he instinctively knows how to engage his audiences. Known as "Philadelphia's singer," Eddie is a well-known media personality who was the original host of "Dancin' on Air," a popular TV show in the 80's and a radio talk-show host for many years in Philadelphia. He has performed from coast to coast and is pleased to return to New York. The Eddie Bruce Orchestra plays at social functions and for some of the most prestigious galas in the Philadelphia area with a regular appearance with this band at Paper Mill Playhouse's annual gala event.
