Dogs are very important to humans. For not only are they used for specific tasks such as herding farm animals and leading the blind, they are also considered man's constant companions and will stay by one's side through thick and thin with unwavering love and devotion. In "Dog Tails," author Piers Fisher-Pollard has created a fitting tribute to these magnificent creatures.

"Dog Tails" is a sometimes playful, sometimes educational, and sometimes introspective exploration into the world from the point of view of man's best friend: the dog. All the dogs that appear in "Dog Tails" gave their time and opened their souls to the world for nothing more than a pat. They have no great agenda: it is just to say hello, tell one a little about themselves, and above all, to make one smile. The images found in this book are beautiful examples of dogs in their most natural and playful state and the accompanying poems, and jokes are all cleverly written with witty quips and information that will surely make it an excellent gift or addition to the coffee table.

"Dog Tails" is bound to charm even the odd few who are not already in love with these friendly, furry creatures.
