Dogs are very important to humans. For not only are they used for specific tasks such as herding farm animals and leading the blind, they are also considered man's constant companions and will stay by one's side through thick and thin with unwavering love and devotion. Piers Fisher-Pollard holds a Master of Arts in Creative Writing from one of Australia's most prestigious writing faculties at the University of Technology, Sydney. He is also an avid photographer and a dedicated dog fan. Creating "Dog Tails" was a labour of love: Piers carried his camera with him every day and photographed every dog he met, for more years than he had cared to mention. Some of the stars of "Dog Tails" are his personal friends, some occasional acquaintances, and many were complete strangers, who happily took the time to pose for a photo shoot and share their most intimate peculiarities and life experiences.
