Michigan author Deanna Kahler is pleased to announce her latest book, "Echoes of Paradise," a fiction story about spirit communication and the afterlife. The book, which is scheduled for release on Jan. 11, 2014, offers readers a fascinating glimpse of the world beyond and features spiritual and metaphysical concepts and experiences. It's part romance, part paranormal and part drama. Here is a synopsis:

Star-crossed lovers Celeste and Connor were never meant to be together in this life. Fate kept them apart and led them on separate paths, with thousands of miles between them. But despite their individuality and diverging pursuits, their connection remained strong. Now separated by death, Celeste ventures into a strange and mysterious world, determined to find out what really happens after we die and what became of her lost love. Her journey takes her to places she never thought possible, where she soars to new heights and eventually learns the most important lesson of all: the power of love can transcend all boundaries.

As readers follow the main character Celeste through her struggles, grief and spiritual awakening, they'll also gain information on signs, synchronicity, numerology and after-death communication. Although the book is fiction, many readers will be able to relate to some of mysterious occurrences throughout the story because they have encountered something similar in their own lives.

"We've all noticed unusual coincidences and events we can't explain," says author Deanna Kahler. "Some people have even received signs that appear to be coming from someone who passed away. Through my own research, I learned that these experiences are actually quite common. I became fascinated by the topic of spirit communication and was inspired to write this book."

"Echoes of Paradise" explores the human need for answers and the deep desire to explain the unexplainable. But even more importantly, people will be reminded of the unbreakable bonds that connect them to others - no matter where they are. This is a story that will not only entertain readers, but also leave them with a sense of hope and comfort.

The book retails for $12.95 and will be available on amazon.com this winter. Those who are interested in previewing "Echoes of Paradise" before it is released to the public can enter to win an advance reading copy Oct. 1 through Nov. 11, 2013 at GoodReads.com.
