Darren Criss talks GLEE!

GLEE breakout star and recognizable Broadway baby Darren Criss currently headlines 2014 Best Musical Revival HEDWIG & THE ANGRY INCH and discusses his participation in composing an original song for the final season of long-running FOX musical dramedy series GLEE as part of a new interview.

Of note, "This Time" was featured on the final episode of the musical hit.

"This old familiar place / Where every face is another part of me / I played a different game then / They called me a different name then," Lea Michele sang as Rachel Berry in performing the eloquent music and lyrics of the moving anthem.

"The genesis of this song was the fact that it was the end of GLEE," Criss relates in the new video.

"I didn't want to write a song that would just have no meaning," Criss says.

Furthermore, Criss reveals he intended for the song to "personify everyone else's journey."

More information on HEDWIG & THE ANGRY INCH is available at the official site here.

Of note, HEDWIG & THE ANGRY INCH took home 4 2014 Tony Awards, including Best Revival Of A Musical, Best Actor In A Musical (Neil Patrick Harris), Best Featured Actress In A Musical (Lena Hall) and Best Sound Design (Tim O'Heir).
