About the Authors

William Meikle

William Meikle is a Scottish writer, now living in Canada, with fifteen novels published in the genre press and over 250 short story credits in thirteen countries. His work has appeared in a number of professional anthologies and magazines. He lives in Newfoundland with whales, bald eagles and icebergs for company.

Keith Deininger

An award-winning writer and poet, Keith Deininger is the author of the novella Fevered Hillsand the novel The New Flesh. He grew up in the American Southwest and currently resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico with his wife and their three dogs. Visit his website.

Jamie Lackey

Jamie Lackey earned her BA in Creative Writing from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford. Her fiction has been accepted by over a dozen different venues, including The Living Dead 2, Beneath Ceaseless Skies, and Daily Science Fiction. She has appeared on the Best Horror of the Year Honorable Mention and Tangent Online Recommended Reading Lists. She read slush for Clarkesworld Magazine from 2008-2013, works as an assistant editor at Electric Velocipede, and helped edit the Triangulation Annual Anthology from 2008 to 2011. Thomas Kearnes

Thomas Kearnes is a 37-year-old author originally from East Texas and now living in Houston. His fiction has appeared or will appear in PANK, Storyglossia, Spork, The Ampersand Review, Word Riot, Eclectica, JMWW Journal, Night Train, SmokeLong Quarterly, wigleaf, A cappella Zoo, Johnny America, Digital Americana Magazine, Prime Number Magazine, The Northville Review and numerous LGBT venues, including Educe Journal, Diverse Arts Project, Diverse Voices Quarterly, Wilde Magazine and the Best Gay Stories series. He is a two-time Pushcart Prize nominee. His debut short-story collection,Pretend I'm Not Here, is now available from Musa Publishing. A second collection,Promiscuous, is due before Halloween from JMS Books. He is an atheist and an Eagle Scout.
