On Friday, September 21stJLL Presents The SIX STRINGS EAST FESTIVAL at DROM featuring John Hammond, Jim Campilongo, Dumpster Hunter, Wyndham Baird, and Sarah Lipstate. There is an unconditional love between a guitarist and their guitar. Whether it's being lit on fire, strummed, smashed to pieces, or finger-picked; guitarists show their appreciation for their instruments in different ways. One stage, one night, six strings and five amazing guitarists. Come celebrate guitars and the people that play them.

Featured artists include: John Hammond, grammy award winning and legendary dobro playing, harmonica blowing, blues singer. Jim Campilongo and with his electric trio (featuring Stephan Crump and Tony Mason), playing everything from Country chicken picking to West Coast cool jazz. Dumpster Hunter, the wily and energetic vocals of Jeff Taylor surrounded by a homegrown blend of rock and funk.

Wyndham Baird, the folk musician extraordinaire who effortlessly embodies the moment of 1960's Greenwich Village chic. Sarah Lipstate, a renowned experimental guitarist known for her masterful, atmospheric and textural live performances.

DROM is located at 85 Avenue A (between 5th & 6th Street). Doors at 6:00pm, Show at 7:00pm. Tickets are $12 advance and $15 the day of show and at the door. Tickets are on sale now! You must be 21+ to enter. Tickets may be purchased through Ticketfly or in person at Drom at 85 Avenue A. All sales are final and non-refundable.

Drom offers a full service bar and kitchen, open all night. Full menu and drink specials online. Tickets are for general admission/standing room.
