ComedySportz in Richmond to Host MOMINATION, 5/9-10

This Mother's Day weekend the mothers of ComedySportz players are taking on their kids in a battle of wits and improv, ComedySportz Momination -The ComedySportz Mom Challenge. Over three performances Friday, May 9 and Saturday, May 10 the mothers of the ComedySportz Middle School, High School, Minor and Major Leagues compete against their children in three ComedySportz matches. Tickets cost $10 and are available online at www.cszrva.com or by phone at (804) 266-9377. Moms are offered free admission to the shows with proof of motherhood and the child or children must sit with their mother for the duration of the match. All matches are played at the ComedySportz Improv Theatre at 8906 West Broad Street.

Along with the special admission for moms, this annual show pits the ComedySportz players against their mothers. performances during the weekend of May 9th and 10th special for moms and played by moms.

"We asked the moms and dads of our students if they would want to play against their kids on Mother's Day or Father's Day. One parent answered without reservation saying "YES! I see no downside! We're either funny and embarrass our kids, or we're awful and we embarrass our kids. It's a win- win," said ComedySportz Improv Theatre Director of Education, Christine Walters.
