With a slew of standup comedians arriving on the Great White Way this season, Broadway veteran Colin Quinn gave a piece of advice to every one of them in an article for the New York Times. Check out his words of wisdom below:

Kathy Griffin, Kathy Griffin WANTS A TONY!: "She came to my show with a big hug. I didn't know she was going to stab me in the back for my Tony."

Robin Williams, BENGAL TIGER AT BAGHDAD ZOO: "The big problem for all comedians is not messing around. You have to stick to the script. And for Robin Williams that's harder than it is for anybody."

Jim Gaffigan, THAT CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON: "My only advice to him is to not take out his wallet in front of the rest of that cast, because they're all much richer than he'll ever be."

Chris Rock, THE _____ WITH THE HAT:  "He should change the name of his show from ‘The _______ With the Hat' to ‘The _______ in the Jacket.' "

Ben Stiller, HOUSE OF BLUE LEAVES:  "You can't count the Stiller-Meara family out, ever. They're a scrappy theater family. They don't play games."

Dane Cook, FAT PIG: "All the girls that didn't get to see ‘American Idiot'... can wait outside for Dane and get his autograph. My advice to him is to get used to signing a lot of breasts. Not that he's not already."

John Leguizamo, GHETTO KLOWN: "The only advice is to not make it look too easy, since he's done it so often. You can't go to the audience: ‘Hey, guys, you know the drill. I do this, then you laugh here.' "
