TV and theatre star Charlotte Rae will perform as part of the Any Wednesday series at Lincoln Center Barnes & Noble (66th St. and Broadway) on Wendesday, February 21st.

Rae ("The Facts of Life") will perform songs from her recently issued CD from PS Classics, "Songs I Taught My Mother," as well as other songs from her long and varied career, which includes the original New York casts of Threepenny Opera and Li'l Abner, as well as more recent concert appearances, such as 70, Girls, 70 and Plain and Fancy. As a large turnout is expected, those interested are advised to arrive early.

Last Wednesday, a hearty crowd of 40-some (including Rae) braved the icy weather to see Quinn Lemley star as Rita Hayworth in the one-woman musical The Heat Is On, which will play this Thursday, Feb. 22, at B.B. Kings.

Upcoming artists include: Joanne Beretta (March 7), Tony DeSare (March 14), Moira Danis (March 21), New Voices: Russell Brauer, Richard Holbrook, Jasper Kump (March 28), Mary Foster Conklin (April 18), and Maude Maggart (May 30).

Each Any Wednesday performance begins at 6:00 p.m., lasts approximately 30 minutes, and is followed by an autograph/meet-and-greet session with the artist. As always, there is no charge. For more information, please feel free to contact Bart Greenberg at AnyWednesdayBN@aol.com or at 212-595-6859.
