The Great Divide is written and directed by Charles Messina and will begin performances on Monday, June 6, opening June 15 – June 29 at 7PM at The Triad Theatre (158 West 72nd Street). The Great Divide is being presented by Scott Brooks, Gina Ferranti, and Bruce Robert Harris.

The Great Divide explores the delicate balance between being honest with yourself and honest with your significant other. What constitutes adultery? a lunch? a kiss? an intimate moment? when you start having feelings? …and at what point do you confess to your spouse? That is the main issue at the heart of Messina's The Great Divide, a "he says, she says" type reality theatre that lets the audience choose the fate of the characters.

Charles Messina (playwright/director) directed the off-Broadway hits Cirque Jacqueline and Mercury: The Afterlife and Times of a Rock God. In 2003, Messina wrote and co-produced the feature film SPY (Vincent Pastore, Frank Vincent and Ben Curtis) and is currently in production to direct the Broadway musical Be My Love (produced by Phil Ramone and Sonny Grasso), about the tragic life of legendary tenor Mario Lanza.

The cast includes Ernie Curcio (Paul, the guy), Gina Ferranti (Sara, the wife) and Johnny Tammaro (Max, the guys best friend) all of Tony 'n' Tina's Wedding – from wedded bliss to matrimonial heartbreak and Barbie Insua (Nicole) as the other woman.
