CABARET Revival News

CABARET Revival News

As you may have heard already, in 2014 we are reviving Cabaret at Studio 54 starring Alan Cumming and Michelle Williams. Sam Mendes (director) and Rob Marshall (co-director and choreographer) both return to stage their Tony Award-winning production, along with the original design team.

Cabaret marked a milestone for Roundabout, and I couldn't be happier to see Studio 54 converted back into the Kit Kat Klub once again. Sam, Rob, and Alan have enjoyed incredible success since we first mounted this production in 1998, garnering even further renown (and countless awards) for their film, television, and theatre work. Michelle, a three-time Academy Award nominee (Brokeback Mountain, My Week with Marilyn), will be making her Broadway debut in this production, and I am certain that her Sally Bowles will be a fresh take on one of the greatest musical theatre roles ever written.

Putting together this production has been no easy feat, and the work is just beginning for all of us. I am extremely excited to revisit Cabaret, one of Roundabout's most beloved productions, and I look forward to sharing it with a whole new audience.

I encourage you to subscribe now and save more than 50% off of tickets to Cabaret or sign up for our Email Club to purchase single tickets before the general public.
