Jenn Colella & Nina Storey

Where: Birdland (315 W 44th Street)

When: February 2nd at 7:00 PM

Tickets: $25 at http://www.birdlandjazz.com/event/756853-jenn-colella-nina-storey-new-york/

Jenn Colella is currently starring as Anne on Broadway in If/Then with Idina Menzel. She attended Columbia College in her home state of South Carolina and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech and Drama. During her undergraduate years she accrued a number of professional acting credits as a company member of Trustus Theater. Later she journeyed to California on scholarship as a Chancellor's fellow and earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in Acting from the University of California, Irvine. After graduate school, she remained in Los Angeles and pursued a career in standup comedy. She was a regular at The Comedy Store and at The Laugh Factory in Hollywoood. Colella's first starring role on Broadway was in 2003, as Sissy in Urban Cowboy. Her performance earned her an Outer Critics Circle Award nomination.

On her latest album, "Think Twice," Nina Storey doesn't hold anything back. The soulful and sexy Los Angeles-via-Colorado chanteuse delivers honest and hypnotic songs steeped in classic soul-pop. Elegantly stripped, Nina is as powerful as she is provocative. Produced by Chris Seefried [Counting Crows,Fitz and the Tantrums, Jay Nash, Haley Reinhart], the record has, in Storey's own words, "the sensibility of an old-school soul record from the likes of Eartha Kitt, Diana Ross, and the Ronettes with a modern, Bruno Mars pop edge." Storey has sold over 35,000 albums independently, and financed "Think Twice" entirely from the support of fans, via PledgeMusic.com. She has headlined the Montreal Jazz Festival, New Orleans' Jazz Fest, Monterey Blues Festival, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and the Boulder Arts Fest.

After a sold out performance in September, #SOBLESSED: Live! returns to 54 Below for a special winter engagement benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fight's AIDS! Starring A Bunch of Really Awesome People You Love That Will Be Announced Later, #SOBLESSED: Live! is the concert adaptation of #SOBLESSED, a satirical tell-all describing the life of the modern day actor in New York City, written by Internet personality, Annoying Actor Friend (@Actor_Friend).

#SOBLESSED: Live! features performances and stories associated with actors' experiences in college, pounding the pavement, on tour, Broadway and even while on unemployment. It will be nothing short of the type of experience you would expect from Annoying Actor Friend. Complete with interactive liver-murdering drinking games, profanity, hashtags, prizes, and the celebration of self deprecation, this event is sure to embody the essence you've grown to love or hate - but it won't matter anyway because you'll be so wasted you won't remember a thing the next morning.

So come on down to 54 Below to party for the good of BC/EFA! We're not going to say @Actor_Friend will be there, but we're not NOT going to say @Actor_Friend is going to be there. #grateful.

Hosted by Lesli Margherita (Matilda), #SOBLESSED Live! will feature performances by Jeremy Jordan ("The Last Five Years", "Smash"), Wesley Taylor (The Addams Family, "It Could Be Worse"), Michael James Scott (Something Rotten!, The Book of Mormon), Keala Settle (Les Miserables), Adam Kaplan (Newsies), Megan Sikora (Like A Million Broadway Shows), Nikka Graff Lanzarone (Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown), Ellyn Marie Marsh (Kinky Boots) and MORE AWESOME PEOPLE WHO MAY JUST SHOW UP. The evening will be music directed by Drew Wutke.
