Broadway Couple Nikki Renee Daniels and Jeff Kready Welcome a Baby Girl!

Broadway couple Nikki Renee Daniels and Jeff Kready welcomed a baby girl, Lena Renee Kready, into the world at 6:58 this morning. "Mother and daughter are doing fine. Father is delirious," Kready wrote on his Facebook page.

Daniels recently appeared on Broadway in The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess, as well as in Promises, Promises, Aida, Nine, Anything Goes, The Look of Love, Little Shop of Horrors, Lestat and Les Miserables. New York City Opera: Porgy and Bess (Clara). She has performed as a soloist with the Cincinnati Pops, the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra, the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and at Carnegie Hall. She holds a BFA in Musical Theater from the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music.

Kready made his Broadway debut in the 2006 revival of LES MISERABLES in the role of Babet/UnderstudyJean Valjean, and has the distinction of being the youngest actor to portray the role on Broadway. His next appearance on Broadway was in the Roundabout Theater Company 2008 Revival of Sunday in the Park with George. Kready was also in the Original Broadway company of Billy Elliot The Musical. Off-Broadway, Kready starred in the World Premiere of Tokio Confidential for the Atlantic Theater Company in the role of Ernest Other notable performances include the World Premiere of In This House (Two River Theater Company) in Red Bank, New Jersey and at the Goodspeed Opera House in East Haddam, Connecticut in the 2012 production of the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic Carousel in the role of Enoch Snow opposite Jenn Gambatese (Carrie), for which he received a Connecticut Critics Circle Nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Musical. He also sang on his wife, Nikki Renée Daniels' debut album Home. In 2004, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Voice Performance and Vocal Music Education from Washburn University.
