Brazen Theater presents the professional world premier of Uncle Walt, a new dark comedy by Andrew Rosdail directed by Mark Hooker beginning December 4th at the People's Center Theatre, 425 20th Avenue South, 3rd Floor, Minneapolis, MN 55454. The cast includes Nicholas Pierro, Nick James, Coletrane Johnson, and Matt Wall.

When older brother Clint is fired as a low level animator for Walt Disney Productions, he takes revenge by finding and stealing Walt Disney's cryogenically frozen head in order to hold it for ransom. He brings the head home in his picnic cooler, much to the horror of his slacker younger brother, Ron. The two brothers clash and it all comes to a head, as it were, when Walt's head comes alive, and tries to talk one of the brothers into killing the other in order for Walt to have a new body and reclaim his rightful place at Disney.

Mark Hooker (director) wrote the musical What Liza Saw and The Miss Longview Texas Drag Pageant. An actor, director and teacher, he is also the artistic director and creator of Brazen Theatre, a not for profit LGBT theatre in Minneapolis. His directing credits include Doubt and Naked Boys Singing. His acting credits on stage include Angels in America, Someone Who'll Watch Over Me, and A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum. On television Mark has appeared in All My Children, One Life to Live, As The World Turns, The Guiding Light, Another World and Loving.

Uncle Walt begins its run at the People's Center on December 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, 13 at 7:30 p.m. and December 7, 14 and 20 at 3:00 p.m. Tickets are $20. For more information and ticket sales link, visit brazentheatre.com.
