BOOMERANG THEATRE COMPANY is pleased to announce the world premiere of The Reckless Season, written by Lauren Ferebee (co-artistic director Rebellious Subjects Theatre) and directed by Dominic D'Andrea (producing artistic director The One Minute Play Festival). The Reckless Season will play a limited engagement from Friday, April 21st through Sunday, May 7th, 2017 at TheaterLab NYC (357 West 36th Street, New York, NY 10018). Opening Night is Monday, April 24th at 7:00 pm Tickets are $25 and available at boomerangtheatre.org.

It's 2008 in small town USA, and there is nothing Norman Rockwell about it. Lisa and Simon used to be soldiers, but they're trying to put all that behind them. Except Simon's mother just committed suicide, Lisa's marriage is falling apart, the local meth dealer won't leave them alone and the only calm person in town is Simon's odd brother Terry, who spends all his time playing video games. Wrestling with the aftermath of death, and realization that no one knows what comes next, these four Americans grasp toward adulthood in a place they dream of leaving. Starring Chase Burnett (Black and Blue - FringeNYC), Brian Morvant* (A.R. Gurney's Screen Play - The Flea), Trace Pope (Deployed the Musical - Gallery Players) and Amanda Tudor* (The Milk Train Doesn't Stop Here Anymore - Roundabout Theatre Company).

Featuring set design by Scott Tedmon-Jones, costume design by Viviane Galloway, lighting design by Kia Rogers, sound design by Andy Evan Cohen, and projections by Philip Emeott.
