Black Moon Theatre Company presents Charles Ponzi - A Dollar and a Scheme -- written and performed by Alessio Bordoni, directed by Rene Migliaccio, produced by United Solo Theatre Festival.

This biographical show is based on the life and crimes of Italian-born swindler Charles Ponzi. In 1920, Ponzi found a way to exploit the rules of American capitalism and rapidly emerged as one of the wealthiest capitalists in the US-at the expense of fifty thousand people. The play is an advocacy against the evils of unchecked capitalism as it exposes the mindset of one man whose primary goal was the pursuit of profit.

First performance scheduled for Sunday October 13th, 2013 at 4. P.M. (SOLD OUT) - Additional performance on Wednesday November 20th, 2013 at 9 P.M.

Charles Ponzi - A Dollar and a Scheme is staged at Theatre Row: 410 West 42nd Street, New York City.

TICKETS, with a price of $18, are available at the Theatre Row Box Office and online through Telecharge at www.telecharge.com. You may also call Telecharge at 212-239-6200.
