In Episode 305, award-winning musical theatre writer Joel B. New sat down with Bill Coyne, an actor, singer, and the creator of MuseMatch, a concert series that pairs artists for a "blind date" to create, bold new work for the benefit of charities.

He has also been seen at Soho Playhouse, NYMF, Ars Nova, and created the role of "Supernova" in SUPERHERO CELEBRITY REHAB, which received the 2012 Best of DC Capital Fringe Award. Recent workshops include: BE MORE CHILL, ANNIE GOLDEN, BOUNTY HUNTER YO! by Joe Iconis for Two River Theatre and Cap21, and I SPY A SPY by SooHee Youn and Jamie Jackson at The Playroom.

For the live song portion of the episode, Mr. Coyne performed "Strong, Silent Type," a trunk song included in THE SONGS OF JOEL B. NEW, VOLUME I. Accompanied by Mike Pettry on piano.
