Two-time Tony Award-winner Bernadette Peters will play the sister of the boozing, one-liner-tossing Karen in the May 11th episode of "Will & Grace," which airs Thursdays on NBC at 8 PM ET.

"Just as Will (Eric McCormack) and Grace (Debra Messing) are settling into the idea of raising the baby together, Will's boyfriend Vince (guest star Bobby Cannavale) surprises him with an announcement that will ultimately lead Will to choose between his commitment to Grace and his relationship with Vince. Meanwhile, Karen (Megan Mullally) shocks everyone when she announces that she has a sister, Gin (guest star Bernadette Peters), who was injured as a child during a game of Twister. Jack (Sean Hayes), on the other hand, is comforted by a man (guest star Josh Lucas) after a devastating discovery when his new show 'The Badge' premieres," state notes on NBC's website.

Cannavale is also a theatre veteran. The actor, best known for his work in film and TV, has appeared Off-Broadway in Hurlyburly, F*cking A and A Flea in Her Ear. Mullally has appeared on Broadway in How to Succeed... and Grease, while McCormack has been seen in The Music Man and will star in the upcoming Some Girl(s) Off-Broadway.

A Tony-winner for Song and Dance and Annie Get Your Gun, Peters has received Tony nominations for her performances in the 1972 revival of On the Town, Mack and Mabel, Sunday in the Park with George, The Goodbye Girl and the 2003 revival of Gypsy. She also originated the role of the Witch in Into the Woods, and has appeared in such films as Slaves of New York, Alice, The Jerk and It Runs in the Family. Her latest recording, "Sondheim Etc., Etc.--Bernadette Peters Live at Carnegie Hall (The Rest of It)"--is currently available in stores.

The season finale of "Will & Grace," which has been on TV for eight years, will be aired on May 18 from 9-10 PM ET. Visit www.nbc.com/Will_&_Grace for more information.
