After a long week of treading the boards, what better way for performers to unwind than with the affection of a furry friend? In one of BroadwayWorld's newest series, Tails of Broadway, photographer Jessica Fallon Gordon is capturing priceless moments between Broadway's brightest stars and their pets.

In this edition, meet a pup whose name has appeared in many of her dad's Broadway designs- Beowulf Boritt's dog, Hermoine!

Pet Profile

Name: Hermione

Breed: Toy Poodle

How long you've owned: 11 years

Adoption story: My wife, Mimi Bilinski, found Hermie on Petfinder from a woman in Queens who had a sort of informal rescue operation. We don't know the whole story, but Hermione is a "phantom" poodle, which means she isn't a solid color, she's black with white paws and and some white on her face, and breeders think that is not desirable, so we think maybe that's why she ended up with the woman we adopted her from.

Favorite thing to do with your pet: She likes to hug us. Her favorite way of being held is with her front paws up on our shoulders, kind of like you'd hold a baby, and sometimes she'll put her paws around our necks.

The naughtiest thing your pet has done: When she was teething she ate my glasses and my wife Mimi's glasses. That was an expensive lesson not to leave them on the coffee table.

What would your pet's catch-phrase be: "There'll be food around the corner". Since she's a showbiz dog my wife Mimi started singing "There'll be food around the corner, food around the corner, food around the corner for you, Hallelujah poodle!" (which is from an old Looney Tunes cartoon) before we feed her. So now as soon as we start singing that she starts dancing around and leaping like a maniac.

Fun Facts: She likes to spin 360 while we're walking down the street when she's excited. And her name has appeared on Broadway in several recent musicals.
